Week of Planning

What I'm working on

Now that I have a decent scaffold for the website, I want to focus on a fresh set of paintings, breaking from my random assortment of previous painting subjects. Time to get erratic and go casper. Happy Boy has a lot to say.

What I'm learning

This week I've been playing around with Inkscape, essentially Illustrator but free. Lots of random designs in the works, like Banana Moon. I've been getting lost in the designs, it might not even be in a good way, I get so oddly obsessive over random ideas, I never know when to stop.

Painting of the week

This painting is surreal, look at the tablecloth. Tell me you can't feel that. Those sunflowers are so full of life, you can see the age on them. I could eat a Monet painting. I don't even mean that to be weird, there's just something more tangible about certain paintings. Sometimes the experience of a paintings runs deeper than the paint on the canvas.

Random thought (optional)

I'm learning who I am. I don't know yet. I'm just a big faker.
